Here's the real lowdown on what to expect.
We have a great garden, and lots of friends in the new Aviary. 17 Rare breed bantams (Most of them are barmy, and don't lay that many eggs, but our owners say they look nice!) always broody as far as we can make out. Although they do make great mums, always loads of chicks about.
Then there are the rest of the birds, well what can we say. Two very attractive miniature green parrots. Celestial parcels no less! Give the other birds a run for their money, in spite of their small size. Then there are the Canaries, all 7 of them,. Well that was at the last count. 2 new bright red ones, and both soon to be mums, by all accounts, sitting on 11 eggs between them, so some more new friends soon. Will update on pictures as we have them. 2 of the minutest diamond doves, he makes a very strange noise, but she isn't interested so far.
Still only the start of the summer, so you never know. Then there is Pugwash. The one legged Parrot (Easternrosella, by all accounts, rum cove, but nice enough)
Well if you still want to stay, the house is nice. We like the garden, and the food is good.
